Q. CAN YOU PROVIDE A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON YOURSELF?
A. I have been a part of the Berger Family for 27 years. I came to Berger with no prior industry experience.
Q. WHAT IS YOUR HISTORY WITH BERGER, IN REGARDS TO VARIOUS ROLES YOU HAVE HAD?
A. I have been in the International Department for the last 20 years of my career, after spending two years as a domestic coordinator and five years in Special Products/Tradeshows.
Q. DESCRIBE YOUR DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES.
A. I am the Customer Service Manager of the International Department. We coordinate international moves for corporate accounts and private transferees, as well as manage and forward Berger’s military international business.
Q. WHAT IS YOUR PERSPECTIVE ON QUALITY?
A. We approach our moves as proactively as possible. We recognize that moving is one of the top five most stressful events in our customers’ lives and we strive to make the process as easy as possible, and to help them in any way that we can. Our international team has many years of experience and knowledge that we can share with our customers in order to anticipate their needs.
Q. DISCUSS WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS OUR UNIQUE SELLING PROPOSITION.
A. We have the advantage of being part of a big company with networks and relationships worldwide.

Q. CAN YOU PROVIDE A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON YOURSELF?
A. I have been with Berger Transfer for over 17 years. Prior to working at Berger I was with Beltmann North American for four years.
Q. WHAT IS YOUR HISTORY WITH BERGER, IN REGARDS TO VARIOUS ROLES YOU HAVE HAD?
A. I started out at Berger as a long haul dispatcher. After three months I moved to the Operations Manager position at Minneapolis Van (a Berger company) for two years. Soon after that I became the General Manager at Minneapolis Van for about one year. Then I became the General Manager for our St. Paul branch for three years. In the spring of 2006 I moved to my current position as Director of Operations.
Q. DESCRIBE YOUR DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES.
A. I provide support and leadership to the branch operations. I ensure and maintain the highest level of fleet readiness, quality, safety and capacity to service our customers on time.
Q. WHAT IS YOUR PERSPECTIVE ON QUALITY?
A. Meeting or exceeding the customer’s expectations.
