Q. CAN YOU PROVIDE A LITTLE BACKGROUND ON YOURSELF?
A. I am currently the office manager and OA/DA coordinator. I’ve been with Berger for 21 years and began with no industry experience – I came in green!
Q. WHAT IS YOUR HISTORY WITH BERGER, IN REGARDS TO VARIOUS ROLES YOU HAVE HAD?
A. I actually came in as a temp for reception. I took on billing duties until a billing department was established at corporate. From there I did storage, national accounts, military coordinating, national accounts coordinating…pretty much everything on the administrative side.
Q. DESCRIBE YOUR DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES.
A. I am the OA/DA coordinator so I send survey results over to bookers. I also do normal coordinating duties: making phone calls, getting crews their times for the next day, and updating the customers on their moves. It’s something new every day, as I wear so many different hats. I also oversee the other girls in the office, making sure that everything is going well.
Q. WHAT IS YOUR PERSPECTIVE ON QUALITY?
A. I treat my customers as I would like to be treated if I were a customer.
Q. WHAT ARE A FEW HOBBIES OUTSIDE OF WORK THAT YOU ENJOY?
A. I love anything outdoors, and with our weather in Austin you can do anything year-round! I’m a big football fan. Go Texas Longhorns and Miami Dolphins! I also enjoy taking care of and hanging out with my four-year-old nephew Bobby.
