At Berger Moving & Storage, giving back is part of who we are. This month, our Chicago team kept our “Moving Towards a Cure” initiative moving with a Pink Friday raffle benefiting the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Fundraiser
The raffle was a great way to bring the team together and was full of energy and heart. For just $10, team members entered to win four tickets to a Chicago Bears preseason game, generously donated by Berger. Every dollar raised went directly to supporting breast cancer research, awareness, and care through the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
This wasn’t just about the raffle, though. It was about community and purpose. Our Addison crew went all in on the pink theme, wearing their bright pink shirts, using pink pens, and dropping their entries into an on-brand pink raffle bucket. The kickoff event also included a team lunch where the team came together to reflect on the cause and celebrate each other’s commitment to making a difference.
🎉 Congratulations
Cassandra Chappell, one of our amazing Customer Service Leads, took home the big prize and will be attending a Chicago Bears game this fall!
Support
More importantly, we’re proud to share that in just one week, we raised $140 which is a great way to keep our support of Susan G. Komen going strong.
As we continue our “Moving Towards a Cure” efforts throughout the company, this is a great reminder that even the smallest acts of kindness can be impactful.
Moving Forward, Together
Stay tuned for more Susan G. Komen and Pink Friday updates from our branches across the country! We’re coming together to support a cause that means a lot to so many of us.
