How Berger Allied Moving & Storage Supports Susan G. Komen

At Berger Allied Moving & Storage, supporting meaningful causes is part of who we are, and one of the causes closest to our hearts is the fight against breast cancer. For years, we’ve proudly partnered with Allied Van Lines and Susan G. Komen, raising awareness and uniting our teams across the country in support of our mission of Moving Towards Cure.

From fundraising campaigns to educational awareness efforts, Berger has consistently shown up for the cause. One of our favorite traditions is Pink Fridays, where team members across all branches and departments wear pink on Fridays to spread breast cancer awareness. Whether in the office, on the road, or in the warehouse, this simple, fun act unites us a company and shows our support for a cause that impacts so many people.

Pink Fridays are just the beginning… our commitment goes deeper. Berger has proudly made monetary and in-kind donations to Susan G. Komen and actively participates in initiatives that bring visibility, awareness, and impact to the fight against breast cancer.

Our newest initiative is:

The 2025 Susan G. Komen Truck Photo Scavenger Hunt

This October, we’re taking things to a whole new level with a fun, company-wide initiative that blends creativity, teamwork, and purpose.

The Mission:

Throughout the month, all team members are invited to participate in the Susan G. Komen Truck Photo Scavenger Hunt using a special pink and orange Berger Allied truck graphic. Participants are encouraged to capture a photo of the truck at five themed locations within their hometown:

Natural Landmark (lakes, mountains, rivers, etc.)
Sports-Related Location (stadium, arena, field, tailgate, etc.)
City Skyline
Historic or Famous Landmark
Company Pride (branch, truck, team, sign, etc.)

Rewards:

Each photo submission earns our team members 1 raffle ticket (up to 5 entries).

At the end of the month, a Grand Prize Winner will receive:

- Their name added to the official SGK Perpetual Plaque located at our corporate office

- A donation to Susan G. Komen made in their name

- Lunch for their team

- Plus, a prize bundle that includes Susan G. Komen-branded apparel and promotional items

At the end of the month we’ll compile all submissions together in a recap video that highlights everyone’s participation, along with a map showing how far our trucks have reached across the country.

More Ways We’ve Supported Susan G. Komen

Chicago Bears Game Pink Friday Raffle: Berger’s Chicago office hosted a Pink Friday raffle. Team members donated $10 for a chance to win four tickets to a Chicago Bears pre-season game, donated by Berger. All proceeds went to support Susan G. Komen. From pink raffle tickets (filled out with a pink pen) to a pink bucket for entries and a kickoff lunch with lots of pink shirts around the office, the Chicago team showed up strong and made it fun for everyone.
Race for the Cure: Our team volunteered at Chicago’s Race for the Cure, Komen’s signature 5K event, energizing the crowd and supporting survivors, families, and advocates.
Mother’s Day Moment of Support: Honoring all mothers, grandmothers, and survivors, we encourage team members to give a moment of support and take action for a cause that affects women everywhere.
