The Accounting Department is responsible for recording and reporting the cash flow transactions with the entire Berger Family of Companies.  This team has some key responsibilities, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and financial reporting. They receive, research, and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including advising stakeholders about problem resolutions.

The Billing Department is a fast paced group, working collectively to correctly issue and submit invoices to all of our customers nationwide for payment. They provide monthly customer statements, issue credit memos when necessary and maintain our customer files. They are a vital team in the Berger Family of Companies.

Our Claims Department is an imperative team within Berger. Our Claims team is responsible for processing, researching and rectifying all claims and claim chargebacks nationwide. They work closely with our branches, drivers, customers and vendors ensuring everyone has a positive, memorable experience.

Our Customer Service team works to ensure every customer has a positive, memorable experience. They provide professional, friendly, high quality assistance from start to finish, in an open, honest and fair demeanor, even if that means directing them away from Berger due to capacity or availability concerns.

Our Management team is responsible for our day-to-day operations. They lead our employees to provide excellent service, and great customer satisfaction, while developing and managing an annual budget and recommending initiatives for constant growth and profitability.

Our sales team is the bridge that connects our customers with the many services the Berger Family of Companies provides. They build and cultivate relationships with our clients, by being open, honest and fair. They go the extra mile to ensure every customer has a positive, memorable experience.

The central Operations team, in cooperation with customer service,  is the main point of contact for our customers and drivers.  Our dispatchers and distribution schedulers are the central hub, quarterbacking our moves and deliveries from start to finish. From routing trips to dispatching the fleet, they work tirelessly to ensure every customer has a positive memorable experience.

Our HR Department provides assistance and guidance for  prospective and current employees. From recruiting, interviewing, hiring, benefits, payroll and termination – they cover it all! Our HR team strives to be open, honest and fair, while having a positive impact on the lives of our Berger family. They have a hands-on approach interacting directly with local and branch team members to provide service oriented HR functions to the field.

Our IT Department keeps the Berger machine running! They oversee the installation and maintenance of our computer network systems working as a team to ensure that everything runs smoothly.  On the development side of our IT group, they develop, plan and refine programs that not only assist our employees, but allows us to provide excellent customer service.

Our Marketing Department promotes the Berger Family of Companies brand. They are responsible for all company-wide communications and announcements for both internal and external customers. They assist with copy writing, social media and print material – they are the creative touch working to have a positive impact on the lives of our customers and team.

Our Safety team is responsible for the development, application and constant improvement of Berger’s safety regulations. They collaborate with our IMPROVE (Impelled to Manage Profit and Risk On Vehicles and Employees) committee to act swiftly on any safety issue that arises and to consistently stay up to date with the latest regulations.

Our Warehouse team is the heart of Berger!  This robust group moves quickly to assist drivers with loading and unloading of trailers, maintaining and organizing our warehouse, and vaulting or un-vaulting shipments when needed. They are dedicated to have positive impact on the lives of our customers and our team.
